For this task were given a archive of old footage and had to edit to the non-diegetic music of David Byrne and Eno the tracks called America is waiting. The genre for my piece I wanted to edit was violence, so went thought the footage and cut out scene I thought would be useful and that had the violence scenes. I ended the video with the atom bomb video this video was used by the government to create moral panic in society so this fitted perfectly with my genre.
